2025 – Joint Admission Test for Masters
The Joint
Admission Test for Masters (JAM) is a national wide entrance exam that provides
admissions to various postgraduate programs like M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), M.S.
Research, M.Sc.-M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., and more. The exam is
conducted by IITs and is aimed at consolidating science as a promising career
option for bright students across India.
IIT Delhi has released the official notification for IIT JAM 2025. This
year, IIT Delhi will conduct the computer-based Joint Admission Test for
Masters (JAM 2025) on February 02nd, 2025 (Sunday). Interested and
eligible candidates aspiring to pursue a career in basic sciences can apply
online for this entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria to Appear in JAM 2025
- Educational
Qualification: Candidates should have passed or be in their
final year of an undergraduate degree. Proof of passing the qualifying
degree must be provided by the time of admission.
- Candidates
without a mark sheet should produce a certificate stating the subjects
studied, signed by the Head of the Institute.
- Foreign
nationals with an Indian degree can apply, subject to the admitting
institute's policies.
- Physical
Fitness: Admitted candidates need to submit a Physical
Fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner. They may also
undergo a fitness test by a medical board constituted by the admitting
institute. Admission may be cancelled if a candidate is found physically
unfit.
