The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites Online Applications for recruitment to the following positions:

Pay Scale:

  • Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD): ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Pay Level – 3)
  • Sepoy (NCB): ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 (Pay Level – 1)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: 18 to 23 years as on 01.01.2025.
    • Relaxations apply for SC/ST, OBC, and other categories.
  • Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Class pass from a recognized Board by 01.01.2025.

  1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  4. Medical Examination
  5. Document Verification

How to apply for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in NCB Examination

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply:

1.     Visit the SSC Website:
Go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC): 

2.     One-Time Registration (OTR):

o    If you are a new user, you need to complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website of SSC.

o    Follow the instructions given on the portal to generate your OTR.

o    Once the OTR is generated, it will be valid for future SSC exams as well.

3.     Filling the Application Form:

o    After generating the OTR, log in to your account using the registration ID and password.

o    Navigate to the ‘Apply’ section and select the Constable (GD), Rifleman (GD), Sepoy in NCB Examination-2025 link.

o    Fill in all required details such as personal information, educational qualifications, and preferences for forces.

4.     Upload Documents:

o    Photograph: The application will capture a live photograph of the candidate using the device’s camera. Ensure you are in a well-lit area and follow the instructions provided.

o    Signature: Upload your scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format (10-20 KB). The signature image dimension should be about 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).

5.     Submit Application:
Once you’ve filled in all the details and uploaded the documents, review your application using the ‘Preview/ Print Option’. Ensure that all information is correct.

6.     Application Fee:

o    Pay the fee of ₹100/- if applicable (General/OBC candidates).

o    Payment can be made via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay debit cards.

o    Women candidates, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from paying the fee.

7.     Submit and Save:

o    After completing the payment (if required), submit the application.

o    Save a copy of the final submitted Online Application Form for future reference.

  • Fee Payment Deadline: 15th October 2024 (11:00 PM)
