The Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme 2024, launched by the Assam state government, aims to provide financial assistance to young entrepreneurs to help them start their own businesses, which will in turn create employment opportunities. The scheme targets 2 lakh beneficiaries, offering financial aid of ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh, disbursed in two installments. This assistance is designed to empower the youth of Assam, reduce unemployment, and boost local entrepreneurship.
Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme 2024 Objective
#Objective: To provide financial assistance to unemployed
citizens to start businesses and create employment.
#Beneficiaries: Permanent residents of Assam aged 28-40 (43 for
SC/ST/OBC).
#Financial Assistance: ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh, repayable after 5 years with
no interest.
Eligibility:
#Minimum
educational qualification: Class X pass (Class X for SC/ST/OBC).
#Must
possess a valid bank account opened before December 31, 2023.
#Must not
have defaulted on any loans.
#Not
more than one member from any family shall be eligible for availing benefit
under this scheme.
#Must be
registered with the Employment Exchange.
